time to leave

We’ve decided to move south as soon as possible, but we can’t all leave at the same time because it would be too suspicious. Mom and I are going first and dad is staying behind with Peg and Benny to make sure they're safe. I'm glad mom and I get to go first because that means we'll have the best change of seeing uncle James. I'll miss dad and my two sisters but they should be able to join us soon enough.

Mom and I are setting out tomorrow. I won't be able to post as much, but I will do my best to keep you all updated. Wish us luck!

shela

Today we received news that Shela has disappeared. Mom and dad are so upset, and I feel ashamed for not wanting to visit her. Everyone's hoping that she's just hiding for awhile, but we're all pretty certain she's been removed like her mom was. I guess we won't be stopping by the ovaries, sorry Shela.

semi-good news!

Semi-good news everyone, while we're evacuation to the foot we may get to stop by and stay with uncle James for a while! Mom says we'll have to pass through the knee anyway, so we might as well visit. She says we're still seeing Shela too, which will require a short detour, but her and dad are both pretty set on visiting, so I think we'll still go. Mom has been trying to contact Shela about our visit, but she hasn't heard from her in the past couple weeks. Hopefully she'll answer soon.

evacuation plans

Mom and dad are still trying to find the best place for us to hide out for awhile.

We were thinking about going towards the feet for a while, because other ganglions have survived fairly well there. If we went we might have to split up though, which none of us are too happy about. I'm not sure of any space where we could all stay situated comfortably. I was thinking maybe we could hide around the ankle, but dad said that would be almost as noticeable as the wrist. Between the toes would be a safer bet, but I'm not sure all of us could fit.

vacation update

Looks like we're not going on vacation to the brain this year after all. Mom and dad say it’s too dangerous. There was a sudden seizure in the area and Uncle Bill hasn’t been seen for weeks.

This is the last photo he sent us.

Though it’s not really a vacation, we might have to leave the wrist soon. I’ve heard recent updates that ganglionectomy is becoming more popular. We’re looking for somewhere to move where we might be less noticeable. Any suggestions? Is anyone else evacuating?

bad news!

Bad news guys, I just found out that my relatives in the pancreas received a negative diagnosis. None of us expected it, because they've been benign all these years. Mom says it's definitely too dangerous to visit now because there are likely to be some seizures in the area. Even though I wasn't looking forward to the pancreas as much as I am to the brain, and dental cavities, this is still really disappointing because it cuts a whole chunk out of our vacation. Also everyone's worried that our relatives might get seized. I'm hoping for the best, I'll keep you posted.

In honor of the present circumstances I thought I would post some pictures of my relatives in the pancreas. The first is my Aunt Bess, and the bottom two are my cousins Sara and Sid.

no visits to the knee for awhile...

As much as I tried to convince mom to let us visit the knee this summer, she said we don't have time if we want to visit Shela and still fit in Jen and Sharron and Bill. I don't really want to visit Shela but mom says she really needs our support and that we need to visit her in case she isn't around much longer. I don't know why she wouldn't be, because she's pretty young, but I guess young cysts disappear too.

Here's another picture of uncle James, he sent it to me yesterday. He say's he's sorry to hear we won't be visiting him but he says my mother's right.

the knee

Here's some photos of the knee. I'm still trying to convince mom to let us go to visit uncle James.

This is a little north of where uncle James lives, but I've always loved that area, so I thought I'd share it anyway.

This is where uncle James lives, I'm sure you can see why I want to visit him. I really love the knee, it's like the wrist but more spacious. I wish we could move there but mom says it's not suitable for ganglions.

getting excited for the brain!

Hey guys, I've been getting really excited about our trip to the brain. I thought I would include some photos that uncle Bill sent me of where we will be staying and some sights to see.

This is an overview of the area where we will be staying.

I love this one so much, isn't the terrain beautiful? I can't wait to visit the Cerebral Cortex.

Another beautiful tourist attraction, this is the Corpus Callosum.

Also, I thought this was worth sharing, this is an old map of the area when my aunt and uncle first moved in. We had a lot more relatives living in the brain then, but they haven't been as fortunate as my aunt and uncle.
